Maven

‘Maven – Restaurant & Wine bar’ is located in the heart of Copenhagen, in the Nikolaj Church, which is one of the oldest churches in Copenhagen, but now housing an art exhibition. Once Nikolaj Square was home of the butcher shops of Copenhagen; That was when the locals named this central square ‘Maven’ – literally meaning ‘the stomach’.

There is a cozy and relaxed atmosphere at Maven, where you can have everything from a glass of wine to lunch or dinner. The Michelin-recommended restaurant serves quality wines, beer and classic dishes made from local, seasonal ingredients. The lunch menu is inspired by the Danish and Nordic cuisine with open sandwiches and seafood.

In the evening, you can enjoy dishes such as rib eye with fries, oven roasted garlic and béarnaise, or butter fried plaice with capers and grilled lemon. Come on weekdays; weekends are busy.

Max capacity: 50 pax
