The area around the farm has a lovely enclosed courtyard with a large covered terrace, a large enclosed garden and the surrounding fields are grazed by the farm's herd of Icelandic horses, sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits.

Nordgården has a beautiful view of the surrounding fields and the Skuldelev ridge, and is only 2.5 km from Skuldelev beach.
