Sønder Aaby Strand
At Sønder Aaby Beach, visitors can enjoy an undisturbed view of Bågø, Jutland, and the Little Belt from a peaceful stretch of shoreline.

Beach Description
The beach stretches over approximately 300 metres in length and is about 5 metres wide. Closest to the water lies a sandy shoreline, while the upper part of the beach consists of stones and gravel. Washed-up seagrass and various types of macroalgae are often found along the shore.
Heading east, you can witness a fascinating geographical phenomenon: the spits at Bredningen. Over the course of roughly 75 years, two landforms – one from the west and one from the south – have gradually extended toward one another.
Seabed and Water Conditions
The area is generally shallow, and the seabed consists of a mix of sand and stones. Many of the stones are covered with fine strands of filamentous algae.
