Sønderby Strand

Lovely sandy beach in the north-western part of the Kegnæs peninsula, which is connected to the island of Als via the dam, Drejet.

The sandy beach is located near Sønderby Strand Camping, where you can buy ice cream, sweets, drinks and food in the Kiosk and Grill during the summer months.

Dogs are allowed as it is not a Blue Flag beach, however, they must be kept on a lead from April to September for the sake of the wildlife.

Natura-2000 area

This beach is situated within the Natura-2000 area and the use of PWC´s (Jet-Boats) is NOT permitted. Read more about the rules in force here.
