Stenvad Mill

In 1920, an 18-horsepower engine was installed.
Much of the original mill equipment has been preserved, including grinders, drum sieve, groat fan, and oat roller.

In 1969/70, local people saved the mill from decay.
Today, the mill appears well-maintained and fully operational.

The mill is open to the public – everyone is very welcome. The fence is only there to mark the area and show where to park your car, so that you don’t park on the lawn.

Last year, new picnic tables and benches were installed, making it a perfect rest stop for cyclists to enjoy a meal. Today, the mill is managed by the Sparekassen Danmark Foundation Vendsyssel, which now owns the site.
