Store Vildmose High Bog

Apart from a culitvated area of extensive range lands, potato fields and cornfields - areas for peat production are still to be found along with remains of the old raised bog which characteerized all the Store Vildmose in former times.

After cultivation and draining and the subsequent subsidence, many monuments of the Iron Age have reappeared: stepping stones, roads and burial mounds.
