Tureby Church is a cruciform church of considerable size, although it was originally much smaller.
The church consists of a Romanesque apse, chancel and nave, with later Gothic additions including the tower and sacristy, as well as two large transept chapels built in 1721–1722.
The church tower is visible from much of the surrounding manor estate, and the church is experienced as an integral part of the overall historic complex.
