What is a Turistinspiration?

A Turistinspiration is not a tourist office in the traditional sense. It is a place where visitors to the destination are met with local pride and genuine hospitality – where brochures and personal advice inspire you towards an eventful holiday on Sjællands Vestkyst. Turistinspirationer are located where the guests are, are easy to reach, have service-minded staff and are generally open five to seven days a week.

Urhøj Camping is also a Bike Friend – a cyclist's ally on the road. At a Bike Friend you can:

• borrow puncture repair kit
• pump up your tyres
• fill up or buy drinking water
• buy cycling maps or find out where to get them most easily
• use a toilet, or find out where the nearest one is
