Vejlø Kirke

Vejloe Church is situated about 2 km from Gavnoe Castle. According to legend, there was once an underground passage between the church and the medieval convent at Gavnoe. The connection between Gavnoe Castle and Vejloe Church can also been seen on the pulpit which is carried by a female troll. The pulpit, pews and altarpiece are all made by the renowned carpenter Abel Schroeder the Younger.
