Route description
The route starts and ends at the water’s edge, at the cozy Sandvig harbor. After a short climb through Sandvig, you hit Slotslyngen’s hilly gravel roads and pass through the still active Moseløkken granite quarry.
Then the village of Vang and the long climb up through Ringebakkebruddet. A disused granite quarry that now offers wild nature and viewpoints.
The route continues down along the coast and hits Jons Kapelvej. Here you can shorten the trip by turning left onto Borrelyngsvej. Drive left onto Borrelyngsvej and you will come across the route again after a short time.
The original route goes all the way down to the rocky coast and the small, beautiful coastal road towards Teglkås and Helligpeder. Here a steep climb up into the highlands awaits you passing Rutsker and the church there.
The trip now goes north along hilly and deserted roads, back towards Sandvig. You briefly hit Borrelyngsvejen, and then the gravel road through the beautiful rift valley area Borrelyngen. Further along the gravel road you pass Ole Christensen’s Sculpture Park and Olsker Round Church.
The last stretch follows large and small gravel roads and small roads back towards Sandvig harbour with its cafes, restaurants and homemade ice cream.
