Exhibitions When ARoS opens the doors to ARoS Collection – Brand-New Collection Exhibitions, it marks a bold reinterpretation of the museum’s collection. The exhibitions offer new settings for both historic masterpieces and contemporary artists – inviting visitors to experience art with fresh eyes.
Here you can experience well-known masterpieces, discover new works and delve into art history and its relevance to our time. From the idyllic landscapes of the Golden Age to contemporary video art that illuminates society's uncomfortable truths.
The works are presented in contexts that challenge traditional periodisations and invite reflection.
