The Beach near the Black Stone

Park at the edge of the Asnæs Forskov woods and walk along the treeline to the house on Kalundborg Fjord opposite Sortensten.

The spot fishes well for most of the year, but the winter is particularly good because of the cooling water from the Asnæsværket power station. Summer can be variable, as tall grass disturbs the fish. The bottom is ideal for fly fishing, since you do not have to wade far out. The fish move around between stones and tufts of eelgrass.

Start fishing at Sortensten and work your way east towards the Asnæsværket harbour, up to roughly 500 metres from the power station, where a protected zone applies during the winter season.
