School Hostel with room for many from all over the country

HEG is the largest educational center in Himmerland, and we are proud to operate a popular school hostel in Aars, housing over 200 students from all over the country. Here, young people who come from far away live while pursuing their vocational education. A stay at the school hostel gives you the opportunity to live your dream 24/7 while also living with your friends.

Aars is located in the heart of Himmerland and offers exciting experiences in art, culture, history, and nature. Dive into history at the Vesthimmerlands Museum, which takes you on a journey through 12,000 years of history, from hunters in the Stone Age to modern life in Vesthimmerland.

If you want to spend your free time in nature, visit the Himmerlandske Heder, which offer an impressive sight, especially in late summer when the heathlands are covered in heather.

North of the island Fur lies the Limfjord’s pearl, Livø, which with its nature, tranquility, and history is something you should experience in Himmerland.
