Jorden er flad (The Earth is Flat)
Bjørn Nørgaard calls his sculpture, "Le Monde est plat", "The Earth is Flat". The sculpture is created specifically for the art museum in Herning in collaboration with Midtjydsk Betonvare and Elementfabrik.

The title refers to the Italian artist Piero Manzoni's famous sculpture, "Socle du Monde", "Earth's socket", which has given name to the biennial in Herning.
