Thisted Pigen

This is a bronze statue standing on a granite pedestal, created by the artist Henning Wienberg-Jensen, in 1956. It was entered into a competition for Academy of Fine Arts Gold Medal. 

The statue received a gold medal, and was bought by Thisted Municipality.

Henning Wienberg-Jensen was born and raised in Thisted.
