The Blue Clover Leaf Route around Bogense

The “Blå Kløversti” in Bogense is a 6.3 km walking or cycling route that takes you through a really varied mix of nature.

It starts at the harbour, follows the coastline, goes through Fredskoven (the forest), and loops back to the harbour.

The trip begins at Bogense Harbour and heads along the coast, where you can enjoy great views of Æbelø—and even across to Jutland on clear days.

On the way you’ll pass Stegø Mølle, a former pumping mill that was used to pump water away from the area.

From there, the route continues to the birdwatching tower at Dæmningsminde, with views over the large nature restoration area at Gyldensteen Strand.

Next you’ll go through Fredskoven, a lovely forest area where it’s great to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

Finally, the route follows Bogense Bybæk (the town stream) back to the harbour.
