Come down and fish at the harbor in Hals, where you can fish from the pier with a good chance of catching flatfish, and during the season, herring and mackerel, as well as sea trout.

Wade fishing is possible in the area just east of the harbor. An underrated spot that can yield decent fish. Fishing is done very close to the shipping lane, which at times is teeming with herring.
Throughout the summer period, the marina is full of life, and there are plenty of offerings ranging from gastronomy to shopping and culture. Parking is available at Hals Harbor, Havnen.
